I am an Associate of an International Law Firm which obtains International Divorces for clients. The divorce procedure is very simple and very fast and is available to anyone worldwide. No travel in necessary. The plaintiff, who is the person seeking the divorce, has a choice of actually appearing in Court in Mexico, Haiti or the Dominican Republic, or handling everything by mail. It is best if both parties are in agreement, but it is not necessary. The procedure is so simple and fast that you can have a Final Divorce within 1 day. Remarriage, if that is one of your concerns, depends on the jurisdiction where the marriage is to take place. For example, in Massachusetts, there is a 3 day waiting period, in New York, there is a 1 day waiting period. There is no waiting period in Rhode Island, Nevada or many other jurisdictions. Following the granting of the divorce, the official decree, together with official English translation, is sent to me via courier, or it can be sent directly to you. It then takes from 2-3 weeks for the final decree to reach you, depending on what mode of delivery (mail, courier) you have chosen and your location. The procedure can actually occur even more quickly, at extra cost.
Here is the information on what is provided by this service:
You will receive an information sheet on which you will provide the names of the parties, date and place of marriage, custody of children, if any, etc… You will receive a power of attorney for the plaintiff (and the defendant spouse if agreed) to sign. You will also get an affidavit to be signed by both parties in the case of a two party divorce, or by the plaintiff alone if the defendant is not signing. The completed forms are sent away and the divorce is granted the next business day upon their receipt. The final decree is then mailed or couriered to you. The final decree can also be sent to my office for you to personally pick up. If your fee is paid via personal check, service must wait for your check to clear, so for this service, it is advised you pay with cash, money order or a cashier's check. My wife and I used this service in 2000 to divorce our exes on October 16th and we married Oct 28th 2000 and we are blissfully happy. My wife has also just completed the Immigration process to become a permanent resident of the US and our divorces were recognized and accepted by the Immigration & Naturalization Service of the US Department Of Justice, just in case you have any concerns about the legality. The cost of this service is only $1599 including all costs and fees.
I also offer the option of expedited delivery service, which will ensure you get your Final Divorce Decree within 1-3 days, depending on your location, for an additional $400. Normal delivery time is 2-3 weeks.
If you would prefer a total and complete Annulment which would wipe away your marriage rather than simply dissolve it, allowing you to legally declare that you were never married, this service is also available for $1,599, including the extra $50 to cover additional fees. This service works the same way as the 24 Hour Divorce.

Please keep in mind that if you pay by personal check, I cannot send your paperwork to the firm until your check clears, so if time is an issue for you, a cashiers check or money order would be best.
